  5. Been working since about 1600, not happy with a document I produced in a format that was 'must be' but for me didn't work. So condensed those 10 pages into 1....nice and now a beer and lamb steak dinner :upyeah:

  8. On Trackday Addicts Facebook, heres an overview.

Please read all the ad, £3200 is as is. I have had this bike for 18 months, having bought from a member in here, and it let go first time out! So it has spent the last 12 months in a recommended repairer in Cheltenham who has proven everything other than reliable. He agreed to strip and rebuild, as I was worried about just buying another motor and putting one in, and wanted a nicely built, standard engine. Although all parts have been sourced, conrods, crank, etc etc it's still in a number of boxes with a 'be ready in two weeks' promise. So had enough...

2010 model, ex-Triumph cup bike so always been track bike
    triumph quickshifter
Mupo race rear shock, top end stuff
    Reworked MCT forks
    Power commander
    Keyless and clutch bypass done
Arrow can, was recommended not to have system as without headwork it makes mid range worse
    Sigma slipper clutch
    Fresh nice bodywork
    Race rearsets etc etc
    Spare wheels

Am sure if has other stuff too but it's in the bike garage

My choice is £1000 on another motor plus what I have already spent and sell for £5200 or sell it as is, with motor in parts and almost everything ready to rebuild or buyer can simply drop another engine in for £3200 just to clear it out.

Going back to larger capacity and want a road/track bike as I am only doing 1 or 2 days a year where I used to do 20.

For those asking, bottom end went. Have sourced a perfect crank, conrods, spare cams in case and all head etc fine, gearbox good. Basically probably need shells and gasket set (I'm trying to get money back on those) to rebuild. And the skill to do it!

  9. I'm claustrophobic but the scanner didn't worry me particularly. What did piss me off was that to drown out the hideous din, they put headphones on me and turned them up to 11. So I got the appallingly distorted tones of the local radio station. God it was awful. I'd far sooner have had the machine.

  10. Why bother going to the office? When you havent had enough sleep you're no good to anyone. Including yourself.

  12. I was showing my Doctor a nasty little rash that has appeared on my wedding tackle today.

He seemed very uncomfortable and didn't want to touch it.

All he said was, "Please make an appointment at my surgery in the morning",

and then he carried on with his feckin' shopping.

  13. Today I've spent most of the day clearing up after the delightful 'Ankle biters' coming home yesterday afternoon with e numbers dripping from their ears and running absolute riot until bed time and comforting our very dramatic German Shepherd who's feeling under the weather with a tender stomach, couldn't get her in at the vets until tomorrow morning :(

We did also had to go and drop Mrs M's CBF125 off with her riding instructor who has bought it back off us and bought daughter #1 a Peugeot Speedfight 4 Scooter this morning in preparation for her getting her CBT as her 16th Birthday present this year. Just got to keep the scooter hidden from sight in the back of the garage until august now as she hasn't got a clue about any of it :D

  16. Today I have mostly been dealing with officious Chinese bureaucrats making up as they go along, the "official requirements" for importing products to China.

    Cvnts!

  17. Too late - it's on tonight too

  18. My gran died last week. The funeral director said, "bury her with something she liked."

As the coffin lowered into the ground today, all we could hear was grandad shouting for help.

  20. Last evening in Barcelona to paint the town - not. It's been another fabulous day weather wise, clear blue skies and low 30s. Visited the Gaudi Casa Batllo this morning, an outstanding piece of innovative architecture but seriously weird in parts. Wandered down to Barcelonetta for a lazy 2 hour lunch before getting the metro back to the hotel. Had a siesta but still knackered so a quiet meal in the hotel before an early bed. Another day tomorrow and the flight isn't until 18:30 so time for the Boqueria market for a little bit of food shopping and tapas for lunch at the Xampanyet down by the Piccaso museum. Andy
