Well today is a "bike day". First thing I'm getting a new front tyre to my Scrambler, then I'm heading home swapping bikes and riding to @JenC and @jompy bbq And I'll be going the long way round
Sounds good! Today is a day off the bikes for us after being out and about the past two nights. Hope you have a good ride on both, ride safe and keep it shiny side up
Thanks for all the well wishes. Have realised the hard way that camping is not much fun when you can't move in fear of opening your wounds.
I told the wife this morning "Words cannot describe how beautiful you are. but numbers can, 4/10." I'm making my own lunch today....
I'm in Milan it's really nice. Turin tomorrow. Off to Vietnam the day after. Not as many exotic Italian cars as I was hoping, and only seen a few monsters as far as ducatis go.
Had to go to work this morning for a few hours, but thought I'd have 30 mins with Elsie when I got home. It turned into 150miles through the countryside and 4 hours I'm pooped.
4th day of enjoying my flu, so sweated for a bit first thing before the dehydration kicked in and I staggered off for drugs and water. Then I fell asleep and basically wasted an amazingly warm dry day. Lolled about in a state of unsettled torpor for a bit more and then started coughing. Been doing that for about 10 hours now and my throat is rasping up nicely. Feels like there's a nail in my throat, like my lungs are full of orphans and my eyes are about 10 degrees hotter than usual. Inlet and exhaust both highly erratic, running very lean and keep cutting out. ECU aching permanently. Life... it's a series of cruel twists and turns.
Think I'll have a couple of hours on the Scrambler this morning, then this afternoon we are going to a picnic in Holmfirth in memory/celebration of Jo Cox.
Returning home from holiday and looking forward to getting out on the Monster for a good blast around the Ards Peninsula.
Had a nice leisurely morning so far, relaxing with a coffee first thing then out with the dogs for an hour and a bit Then came home to find the kids had some breakfast ready for me with a fresh pot of tea and my father's day cards and gift bless them. Very happy daddy today...
## Fathers day update ## Daughter No1 (who has recently developed a great sense of humour bless her) finally surfaces @ 10:10am and comes downstairs to wish me happy fathers day and bearing another gift... Seemingly, my S**t does stink after all! Made me laugh anyway
One child, one card, no call yet....watched a six-pack of sparrows in the garden chasing off a blackbird and hopping around like chicks Now for world supersport race, fresh coffee and decide if cleaning cars and bike day or go out and get some sun
