So what have you done today..?

  1. Monday blues so persuaded Carole that I needed to take her out to Miller & Carter for dinner. We both enjoyed a 50 day, wet aged rib eye steak washed down with a modicum of Peroni and then shared a 'Miller' chocolate orange dessert. OMG, a ball of ganache with a gooey orange centre covered in a bitter chocolate sauce and an amazing orange sorbet. If I didn't feel fat already, I do now :yum. Andy

  3. Raining heavily in Stresa so we hired a fiat 500 car had only done 2000klm never seen a car with so many dents and scratches bits of trim loose and missing it took 45mins to point out and agree the damage with the chap who delivered the car .
Made sure we have CDW and full insurance

  4. Failed at bolt extraction. Bastard.

Lesson: check bolts are torx not hex so if a little rounded they don't round off entirely.

  5. Just got my new web domain working www.ducati.tech

And just bought a rebuilt bottom end of a GPz1100 Uni Track Engine for £150 - been looking for an Engine for ages for KR version 2 but they go for silly money. Just need barrels and a head now...

  6. They made a GPZ1100 turbo didn't they ? I'm sure that's what my mate has sat in bits in his garage .

Sat here at work , filled a load of holes , made sure the furniture fitters are all set up , silicones the sinks & toilet now to finish off the cupboard and integrated fridge doors and plinth . Tomorrow will be kick plates sanding down and refilling holes . . . The joy

  17. Tested my new Shoei GT Air helmet on a 50 mile ride. First impressions, excellent. :upyeah: It's light, really comfortable and really really quiet (with ear plugs). I've always used AGV helmets and still have two, a K5-S & a GT Compact (flip up), both are great, also comfortable and quiet, but this GT Air, beats them both hands down. :)
