I found an iPhone on the bus today, so called the number in the contacts that said 'Home'. "Hello!" I said when they answered. "I've found your phone on the bus." "Oh, that's fantastic," said the woman "I know it is" I replied, "How do I work the camera?"
went to Aldi for some bread this morning and coming home with a two man tent, a chainsaw, three pairs of hiking socks and a trumpet.
Spent the morning speaking to numerous folk called Fred, John and Stuart whom sounded very much like the people down our local take away and like sounded like they were standing in the middle of Mumbai with the amount of background noise... Came off the phone two hours later, still with no T'interweb at home and told there was absolutely nothing wrong with the line or the utility companies end, but they needed to send out an engineer to carry out so testing both locally on our line and in our home... Then miraculously, half an hour later the T'interweb access resumes. Grrr, I bloody hate dealing with utility companies when there's an issue. I then dedicated the afternoon to getting the new Master Cylinder push rods fitted to the 1198 and the other few bits of tinkering that I'd got on the to do list done. Pleased to report that the new master cylinder push rods were successful in curing the intermittent front break binding issue I'd had the last couple of time I was out and the front break worked perfectly all night tonight, and the feedback through the leaver is better than ever before Great ride out with Mrs M and Chris tonight finished the say off on a high.
All day yesterday, and all day today, out on the Mutley in glorious weather, back on shift tomorrow night after near 30 days off....Gutted !!
