Making the house safe like a responsible parent..or is it professional, screwing the sockets back to the wall. IP rating (2 year old proof) friends over for dinner later.
Now Mrs Ex has gone back to Czech and my current girlfriend dumped me for taking the wife on holiday (I'll never understand wimin ) the day has been all mine for a change! So I've been out for a little ride - coffee at Sherburn (I was the only Ducati there this morning then an 848 Corse turned up as I was heading off) Since getting home I've been sat contemplating the project while enjoying the view of my back garden (which was all lawn when I moved in ) Just been finishing my metal fish that some of you know about already Fab day
My ex wife often goes out on a girly night with my ex gf, (sometime between them) but they do like to get funny looks when they say he's my ex partner and the other says he's my ex husband. Today however is stinky time, the ex wife got re married on Thursday, I have been house and dog sitting for them whilst they are on their honeymoon but they forgot to tell me, their big hairy black gsd is booked in for a groom AFTER they come back. He mings, my clothes smell of stinky dog and he stares me out everytime I go near the fridge
Worked on this amazing VERY VERY rare highly valuable ( high 6 figures ) Porsche Carrera 964 LIGHTWEIGHT.....
My wife bought a home waxing kit today. She asked me if she should just do the sides and leave a strip down the middle. I said I would prefer it if she didn't have a moustache at all.
Thanks Hun....was crapping myself as she's worth a bloody fortune....she looked good tho once i worked my magic! lol
** Important Health Warning**... DOCTORS URGENT ADVICE. Do Not use a Collander for viewing the up-coming eclipse - you might strain your eyes. It's OK. You can thank me later.
Usual monday morning trudge to work (and i might add in the car as it was pissing down - shitter as ive not really ridden the zed properly since it came back from the dyno) just to rub salt in but will be continuing the Shed work tonight when i get home (tonights tasks are to build a door, build the storage area in the roof and if i can start to get the lighting and mains in there but i think ill be way off that.... Once the shed is built ill be able to get some stuff out of the garage so i can have a feng shui moment and create some more space, hopefully this bank holiday weekend....
I must be the odd one out. All I see is an overpriced widow maker that needed more skill to drive than most people who could afford it actually had. That's not to detract from Rob's fine workmanship. Andy
Day 4... Is this ever going to get finished? Each time you think you've sorted one room and move to the next one, you find half a box of stuff that belongs to the room you thought you had just finished... Mental. Anyway another day should see it done and then I can hopefully get to the cabling (Internet, network, sound, cable, etc.) and finish the design for the 'furniture' for the study and the 'outside kitchen'. Still haven't touched the garage... or the Hyper... There's always tomorrow
Not so: the 'widowmaker' rep went in part with the shift to the longer wheelbase in '67 and became further refined over the years - by the time the 964 came out in '89, it took moderate determination to make a 911 swap ends and then the 993 raised the game again. That said, the 911 is indeed a triumph of development over design, albeit one that gives the most astonishing drive out of corners - you just need to learn to drive the thing in a way that turns the unusual weight distribution into an asset rather than a liability.
I'm an old school, front engined, rear wheel drive, driver and never seen the draw in Porche which is probably best having rolled an E36 M3 3.0 litre at an astonishingly slow speed. Andy
