  3. Just read that a wealthy middle eastern new owner has been found for Liverpool FC.

Sheikh Anvac- he says he will put the freshness, back into the Club.

  4. Today is the 22nd anniversary of meeting my wife. After some really passionate embracing on our first date, I gathered courage and asked her "Tell me, do you object to making love?"

"That is something I have never done before," she replied.

"Never made love? You mean you are a virgin?"

I was gobsmacked, as virgins didn't exist in my part of West Yorkshire.

"No, stupid" she sneered- "I've never objected"

  5. Oi ! :punch:

  6. Well, after years of not being able to get a decent broadband speed (No cable or fibre available), I've muddled along with 3mbps. It's fine for general interweb tom foolery, but useless for downloads or streaming. :sob:

Anyhoo, Sky now have fibre available at my house, so I've upgraded. Woo Hoo. :)

I've also pulled the trigger and ordered Sky Q 2TB while I was on.

  11. I don't like Miranda but we went to see her a couple of years ago. She made me titter once or twice.

  12. That's why I did it. I felt like I was depriving the forum with my current limited ability to upload my content. :grinning:

  15. Shite isn't it :worried: It's all that's been available for years. I saw BT upgrading the green box thingies on the estate a few weeks ago and noticed a "Fibre enabled" or something like that sticker on them after the guys left. :upyeah:

I do live in the north you know. ;)

Right, I'm just off to the outside netty for a number two. :poop:

  16. 300mb virgin cable.... Basic human right surely? :smugstupidgrinemoji:

  17. I wish. I'm only going to get about 55mbps, but it's a vast improvement. :)

Cable isn't available. :( The house has only been up 7 years, you'd have thought it would have been laid when the estate was built.

  18. To be honest robber raino, we just got upped from 200 to 300 mb, loyal customer and all that other shit, and I can't notice much difference. It was fast before and now it's fast, starting to wish I'd stay at 100mb, and got big reduction off bill, cause from 100 to 200 and now to 300, hardly notice a change really. Only notice when pulling down massive files, like 10gig blu rays can take very few mins.

  19. Jesus. A blu-Ray takes about a day for me.

Really looking forwad to an upgrade. :) I might finally be able to use the Firestick (Kodi) I've got, although I do hear they are being clamped down on.

  20. Fair enough as long as the audience found it fulfilling. Just hope it wasnt the highlight of the show - it's not exactly a well researched and road tested opening, in a dozen secret Gigs beforehand. Not exactly groundbreaking humour but respect each to their own.
