Take the link/mid pipe off the exhaust, you'll get the extra clearance needed when the swing arm can drop lower. Or Some people remove the swing arm pivot bolt, but I had my ABBA stand in there.
Thx thats exactly what I did once I realised the sensor below the swingarm on the exhaust was stopping the mid pipes coming out. Handy really as I plan to give it all a good clean and polish so as the mid pipes are clear, I can do those easier too. tomorrow starts the cleaning, then the std shock back in
Had a lovely afternoon at my grandsons first birthday party in spite of lots of other babies and toddlers being there. I think i must be mellowing :smile:
Today I have mostly been skiing. I would have taken envy-making photos, but I left my iPhone in the car.
Nothing special, but feel I have made real progress with my leg today. It's a bit naughty as I've not yet had the all clear to put weight through it by the fracture consultant (hopefully that will be Thursday) but felt ok putting some weight through it and walking round the house on one crutch. If I'm ok to keep doing this that is serious progress in just two months.

Today I am in the office this morning. Then I'm going dahn sarf and staying with a pal and his wife in Dartford. Tomorrow I have a conference in that there London.
Cleaned back end of bike, chain, swingarm, removed couple of bits, replaced the std schock back, cleaned pipes and wheels with a tooth brush for nooks and crannys and refitted most of the back end. Took track tank off and fuel pump off so I can clean everything under this weeek and get all the lovely std bodywork back on for selling in spring also cleaned this up for sale
Mostly work (well only from 0830 to 2000). Now sat anxiously waiting for the "restructuring" email from our big cheeses' meeting in California.
