  4. Took 1299 out for a pootle. Rather than a tear arse round. I am really warming to the panigale. You just need to work on your inner thigh muscles to grip (ooer) and the thing just flows. Its official, its better than my old 1198 and race mode's suspension settings suit me more than road modes. Yet I prefer road modes throttle response on the road, rather than race. So I may bin rain mode and change it as a bespoke mix of the two if I can. Frankly, she will never see rain if I can help it anyways. Unless theres a 'user' mode I can find.

  7. Did Hoggin the Bridge on Sunday which started from Aust Services at the end of the old Severn Bridge and ran to Caldicot Castle on the Welsh side. Something like 6500 bike's
turned out and half of south Wales lined the roads to shout , wave and cheer everybody. Did not stay too long and then it was back over to the English side and down to Weston Zoyland to watch a friend running his Harley V rod drag bike..A picture taken at Aust Services and a few drag bikes. 20171008_105343.jpg 20171008_153008.jpg 20171008_105343.jpg 20171008_153008.jpg 20171008_152509.jpg 20171008_151947.jpg

  8. Waiting for Lady Antebellum to come on stage.

  9. This morning I was trying to get hold of my Chinese client, but they are just back to work after a weeks national holiday.

The rest of the day (including now) I've been up to my nuts in paperwork.

  10. Trying to book flights to Moscow for the World Cup next summer.

All the flights from Heathrow and Gatwick are fully booked.

  11. deal signed yet....

Been writing yet more progress documents, yet more summary documents and yet more justification stuff...its mostly what I do right now. TBH I'm far happier when I'm in the guts of delivery with a team to motivate around me and progress being seen daily. :upyeah:

And posting parcels....need to get bike out!

  17. OKi doke, I can send you a pic from West Bay on Thursday if you like, gonna be sunny then ?? :D

I work shifts mate, but am free some weekends, am in to a good run of weekdays free at the mo (which is cool, as my lass at work, so free bike time), but after about 2 weeks, I start a good free weekend run.

  18. Had word from them today. The whole project (and it's bigger than just my slope as it includes stuff like zip lines, ropes courses, ATV's, climbing, MTB's, Skatepark, trampolining and a 250 room hotel) needs final approval from the provincial government.

My client has been tasked by the provincial government with increasing tourism to the area (the province currently gets 400 million tourists a year - yes 400 million!!), and to provide a centre of excellence for elite athletes too but the bureaucracy is moving slower than we thought it would.

They hope to have final approval by the end of next week. Fingers crossed!
