Snap...cant touch the floor either but had a nice run out....until the fecking clutch cable snapped! Got 12 miles before the lights made me stop...could I get it rolling again?! Pushed up a massive hill and farmer Giles kindly lent me some tools and his cable repair kit so got home eventually
Got the car washed earlier, what's the betting it rains at least once next week on my 100 mile per day round trip to work?
Fannied about this morning in the garage took the bike off its stands just to "pump" the front Ohlins to stop seals sticking, then thought, roads dry so went for a shortish blast, got totally effin nithered, still have not thawed out yet, must get those heated grips fitted.....better half gone to the flicks to see "Les Mis" as she calls it, so its a bottle of red with the rugby on....
Just picked up a second hand Cube Ltd Comp mountain bike...time to try to get fit again! Tried it out n nearly went arse over tit when I hit the front brake, those disc brakes r bloody good.
I don't want to get involved in buffing pipes - too much like hard work - but there must be someone out there who can tell me an easy way to clean exhausts to somewhere near original condition..?
those two bits are the first time i done any polishing and took about an hour and a half, using the bench grinder, theres two more bits to do the pipes are of my old 796, so polishing before putting on evilbay... practicing before i do my ones on my bike
Not something most people have to hand. I did my TL exhausts with a hand drill and it's fookin' hard work
