  4. Just put the 1st feed of the year on the lawns. :) It's quite tepid here today, I even washed the car without having to be wrapped up like Scott of the Antartic. :upyeah:

Making a sausage casserole now. :yum

  5. Just got back from a 120 mile ride scrubbing in a new set of Metzeler Roadtech 01s. Done 10,000 miles since last February and whilst I love the M7RRs, they only last for 3000 miles so common sense says I need to use a touring orientated tyre that will last a bit longer. The roads in Wiltshire, West Berks and Hampshire are pretty dire at the moment but have to say, even riding a little more circumspectly than usual, I like them. Andy

  7. Blooming freezing here, been out to work on the bike in the shed three times and had to come back indoors for a warm each time.

  9. -22°C outside. Put my Canada Goose jacket on before heading out to take my husband to Urgent Care. He's being tested for the flu. Still driving the loaner Jaguar XFS, feeling a little foolish driving it in this weather but what's a girl to do? I will have a hard time giving it back this week.
Great weather for out of towners here to attend the Superbowl in Minneapolis! We'll be watching it in our living room tonight. Go Patriots!

  13. Try Roadtec 01's. Grip is phenomenal for a sports touring tyre and the profile gives you more lean angle than you think. I can scrape my toes on the 1190 and that's a giraffe of a bike.

  14. Rode about 150 miles. Cold but dry and mostly bright. Had to call in at Helmet City and make an emergency purchase of some winter gloves (heated grips going on soon). Bought a pair of Richa Cold Protect Gortex. Down from £99.99 to £70. Bargain. Had an ice warning on the dash the whole ride but the gloves did the trick, Could have ridden all day.

  17. Having got both track bikes back from JP racing, I decided to give them both a clean, the RSV4 has had new Brembo discs and pads fitted, autoblipper fitted, new fuel cap. New Bitubo rear shock.
