  1. I didn't wake up till 8.50am :upyeah:

Head still feels like cotton wool, but I have managed to put out some PR on the back of the Winter Olympics and now I am having bother trying to add a news story to the company website so I am waiting on the nerds to call me back to help sort the issues out.

  2. My cockyness was short lived, had to hook up some lecky heat tracing this morning for the boiler condensate pipe. Bloody thing froze last night , woke up, and house was down to 15 degrees where boiler had cut out, sorted now though..... Ahh....Heat !! :D
And to make it worse, a very light covering off the white stuff has had me eating humble shit all morning to a few old mates from t'up Norf

  6. Yeah, it sucks creamy, especially as my boiler is on the first floor so the condensate pipe is fecking long, used hot water near floor but couldn't get it up high enough for top elbow, so hooked up a simple set of cables with a regulated supply to defrost top, its still on now and the house has not burnt down..... :D

(PS, not like your chilly willy, liked that you got it sorted )

  15. I did that at the bottom, but at the top, couldn't get the bugger off so home made heat traced it. Still working.. :upyeah:

(Is yours upstairs also then ??)

  18. Yeah, it was the top joint about 12 feet up I couldn't separate, I think some bodger has used jointing compound, could just saw it off and go for a bucket, but the lecky thing was easy, and is working so far, had to lower the voltage slightly as was getting too hot, but is ok now. Not sure I want to leave it on overnight mind, but just for today to keep it warm :upyeah:
