Well I went to the office first thing and caught up on some things, and also dealt with some bureaucracy for my mums will/estate. Then at lunch I went to a talk in cleckheaton on GDPR with our FD. Then straight after that I headed two hours north to meet with my brothers and sister at 4pm to decide on stuff to do with my mums funeral. What a fun day I’ve had :/
See you’re working and combining the most important thing you will ever have to do. Take care mucker, don’t try to keep all the balls in the air.
It’s not so bad really. All the really difficult stuff was taken care of when my old man passed away four years ago. Dealing with just mums stuff is easy really.
Finally after several years of trying and on this occasion spending 40 minutes on the phone trying to get through, I have managed to buy MotoGP Day of Champions tickets. When I finally got through to the sales staff, the background noise at the call centre made it sound like Paddington railway station. Would not want that job today, potentially lots of unhappy punters. Andy
I’ve dealt with idiots most of the day. And the last one that rang at 4.55pm took away 40 minutes of my life that I will never get back.
I refer you to the previous post, “beer o’clock” or “gin & tonic o’clock” , whatever floats your boat Andy
Completed my first shift back as a HGV driver, since I gave up work before a major brain operations in March2017. Looking forward to losing some weight & been a productive member of the tax paying base.
