Spent most of the day at Brands and watched BSB qualifying from the Moto Rapido pit garage. Been a lovely day weather wise and glad we had the forethought to pack some sun screen. Tops of my ears and my nose feel a little prickly. Few beers later in the bar and looking forward to the racing tomorrow. Andy

Canceled trap and skeet training today for my high school team. We are in the midst of a winter storm warning that just turned into a blizzard warning. It's been snowing sideways all day and will continue through tomorrow. Loaded the dogs into the care and made a run to the hardware store for corn to feed the turkeys. They are coming here in droves now that the ground is covered in snow...again. Repaired a couple of holes in my favorite pair of jeans. Not ready to give up on them yet. Ordered an oil filter cup wrench for my Monster. Registered to take a motorcycle rider course through a nearby Indian dealership. Sounds like a good time and I need a refresher so why not.
Bought another 748... to replace the one I sold that the buyer wouldn't sell back to me. Ride to Sutton on Sea on GS with dad and SWMBO. We had tea and cake and it was DRY and WARM!!!! Rode 999 for the first time... ran out of petrol a mile from home, SWMBO to the rescue. Learned that the clutch slips, so hopefully the supplying dealer will sort that (first ride and discovered this after less than 10 miles). Mega bike though.

Brilliant weather, drove for 4 hours through an ice storm, lots of car accidents along the way. Now flights are delayed and cancelled. Well at least we got this far ok.
My usual sunday morning stint in the office (too much to do not enough of us) but have the hyper crankcases, heads, barrels and a few other bits in the car ready to drop down to the cerakoting dude to be reborn...
Having dealt with three different sets of solicitors in the past two years for my brother estate ,my mothers property move and my (other) brothers property move -and obtained partial refunds of all three lots of ‘professional fees’ for mistiakes they’ve made and I’ve had to correct for them - I can’t say I’m surprised. It seems beyond the wit of simple solicitors to perform a customer friendly and accurate/prompt service.
Just watched the women’s netball final in the commonwealth games. Quick shower and then we are off looking at houses apparently.
