  4. wish i'd stayed in bed... little accident in the garage. The result: dented tank, bent gear shifter, a hole in the units i'd just put up.. raced over to ikea as i figured i could fix it for about £20 . man walks out from behind a park lorry - already above the speed limit i accelerate because it looks like he was going to run-in the road.. oh no.. it's a police man holding a gun think i was skyward of 100 as i went by... clenches cheeks for next 2 weeks...

    edit. he really should have worn a high vis jacket for his own safety and hiding behind a lorry is a bit of a shitty thing to do. i will console my self with he thought he was ginger and will likely have sun burn today

  13. 40 mile spin then changed the oil and filter. Band wrench thingy didn't shift it so resorted to screwdriver and hammer :worried::worried: which loosened it enough to then use the wrench:):)

  14. I've stripped the rear brake and master cylinder, cleaned and adjusted, replaced the fluid and bled it, the plunger in the master cylinder wasn't fully returning which caused the brake to stick on slightly, now watching moto gp.

  16. Took an old Italian 100 Lira coin & turned it into a ring. Formed it to display the ‘Italiana Republica’ motif.
    Looks cool :cool::motorcycleduc:

  17. Nice afternoon on the bike, after the 899 spotted in bronlyss there was another 899 in Abergavenny, and also a 1199 tricolore, which was “ tastefully” decorated ( sorry if you are on here ) with the whole rizoma cataloque and every single bolt was anodised in red, purple and blue, at least you never have to be in doubt if you park it next to another five tricolore lol

  18. Clocks been out, tested, all seem ok so back in. Air con pipe cleaned and connected and now seems ok (only tested at standstill tho). Stereo purchased, old lot out, lined up for fitting just need the wiring adapter to arrrive and I’ll have a crack at fitting.

    Then tax 1st May, and proper run out may bank holiday and get some pictures by the sea :upyeah:

    I went to visit a friend for coffee we sat outside in her outside sun catcher then called to see my kids at their granny’s and my son cleaned my little mini
    She has been covered in dirt and dust for a year and I felt quite depressed seeing her like it.
    There has been a lot of care in polishing and sealing and it certainly shows what prepping and detailing does for your car @rob lewis will agree
    Just needs a polish and black plastics cleaning up with some autoglym plastic and bumper polish
    I’m a happy mummy this evening :)
