Always nice to have a matter with you pal! Maybe we will actually get out for a ride one day hahaha . The monster 821 is a cracking little bike btw!
Been a busy boy, installing all the garage units. Just need my worktop now. Have people been OK with laminate stuff or is it best to just pay up and get solid wood? I’m leaning towards solid as I will be wanting to mount a vice and be hammering away without fear of snapping.
Looks good, we just got hold of some 26mm solid worktops from Homebase for a reasonable price https://www.homebase.co.uk/acacia-oiled-hardwood-kitchen-worktop-220-x-60-x-2-6cm_p400774
You ordered it I believe Definitely up for a ride. When do you get the new bike? We can sort something out for then
You can join them ok. Laminate isn’t a problem, just means if it’s cut or chipped it’s harder to make good.
Wood worktops look the part but are high maintenance with the aftercare of applying danish oil,a laminate worktop is easier to maintain and wipedown plus cheap to buy
I’ve walked round to costa for a coffee this morning to get out the house, Er indoors is out with her mum so I don't have a driver
Tart Your supposed to be having a garage to put oily bits on it, not a dining table for your food. I bet you use proper aftershave too instead of wd40 to attract the wimmin?
Hi Andy Not too bad tbh, it aches a bit but that’s all, took the sling off this morning and it was very good quite a lot of movement, got to see the surgeon next week so I can hopefully ditch the sling altogether Hope you have a great time, my track buddy Frankie is on his own this year.
This morning I have found all my touring bags/luggage that SWMBO decided to hide (tidy up the integral garage) when we put the house up for sale. I have now fixed hangers (nails) so I can hung them up in full view I will now be getting ready to go out on my bike
You can create an awful lot of racking/storage options with simple cheap plumbing items If you are a bit of a hipster you will probaby use copper and brass pipes and fitting https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=c...r4LbAhVJDMAKHY5aDqIQ_AUICygC&biw=1366&bih=654 Or if you are a functional tightarse or pretend you are a huff house minimalist, you can use white upvc plumbing pipes and connectors https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=u...sILbAhUHJsAKHSypDU4Q_AUICigB&biw=1366&bih=654
