I was thinking about going out today but in true Sunday fashion, the sofa was calling me. Then around 1pm next door rang saying she was going to watch Skyfall and did I want to pop round. So I did and I did. Good film too. I'm now back home on previously mentioned sofa watching Spurs vs Arse. Not bothered who wins tbh :smile:
Fannied around on here this morning, worked this afternoon, now have 3 days off on the trot........so the M1100s will get fresh oil and filter, complete change of fluids and the valve clearances checked, after all that I'm fitting the R and G heated grips which I bought months ago, have to say I am looking fwd to quality time in the man cave:biggrin:
Drinking Guinness .... Down pub.. Got a week to sort my life out ... Or else .. Guinness helps me sometimes :also keeping eye on Arsenal vs Tott .. Family ties ... Although I'm a souf bird.
Got called put with work and drove all the way to the eastend of london. While on site in stratford i caught a bus and did a mini tour. Enjoyed it tbh.
Got up roads dry so put my figure hugging thermals that show off my six pack (like fook). Then put on my leathers and spent the whole day riding only stopping for the odd costa to keep warm. Only reason I have come back is cause my gods messenger outfit and boots and Scarla are on eBay and are finishing soon.
Froze my nuts off today. Got to the top of Brecon and had to stop because my hands were in so much pain. Got to the black mountains for dinner though. Bbbrrrrrr.
Morning ride to Goodwood Breakfast Club on my Monster, afternoon ride on my Fazer up to Whiteways bike meet. Stopped by to see my parents after. Later on I changed the rear brake pads on the Fazer. All in all a good Sunday.
I got my bottom dragged out .. Danced to some Rockabilly music .. Got down with the young uns. Got into some protective gear two sizes down from original size stress diet. Witnessed the worst toilet conversation ever.. In the ladies at this fundraiser / rockabilly do . I'm in the toilet with another girl from our group of Roller Girls and this woman shouts from the loo. " Lauren is that you ???? ( we are like puzzled and say no). She shouts out " just to let you know ( obviously still thinks its her mate outside). " I haven't got crabs!!!!" All elated. Nice .
Then got sad news my dog friend died. My friends dog who I was so fond of She was a real mare to them killing their chickens.. Breaking out and running off into the play ground down the road ( she loved children). She wasnt allowed on the furniture so when you went out she would jump on every single chair and sofa and mess up the throws so you'd know. Then give you that look " wasnt me". She used to wait til her owner went to bed or out or sneakily creep up on my lap when she thought nobody was looking. Follow me to the loo wait for me then follow me down . Sneak into my temp bedroom and cuddle up with me. I was hell of a fond of her but she drove her owners to despair I can see why . But I will miss my little shadow when I go and stay.
Nooooooooo .... Nor a Mel thing yuk. couldnt help but say in reply to " well what has she got then? " I said "Lobsters".
Got in the car had to drop eldest teenager off ...and go to bakery. Got in my car sat down .. Couldn't drive .i was totally bamboozled . " why can't I drive ??" I have dreams about forgetting how to drive a car. I was sitting key in hand in the drivers passenger seat wondering why I could not drive .... Head scrambled ..
Sorry OMG I got a totally random tax rebait. From 4 years ago . I can have my 400 serviced I want to start collecting parts for a dry clutch conversion on the 600. I'm so so thrilled !
