  12. You sold yours yet Anthony?

  13. Day off tomorrow (last university visit - Nottingham this time) not motivated to work today, trying to work out how to actively coast through the day without doing much but efforts are currently being hampered by my boss being here in the office and people asking me to fix stuff....tsk...

  14. Same old story. The second viewer hasn’t been back in touch. Got a further two viewing this weekend.. as you said it’s one big waiting game.

  15. Blummin' frustrating. Our buyer (who allegedly is paying cash) has booked for his surveyor to come round next week.................for a 3 hours survey!! Smacks of wanting to find issues so he can beat me down on price. He wont cos he's a got a deal as far as I'm concerned.

  16. Panther passed it's MOT with flying colours I will be taking this one to the Manx in August. Now getting my a1934 rigid frame Panther up and running it hasn't run since 2000

  17. The amount of money potentially being spent - a survey is a necessary. And if there is stuff that is found you didn’t know about - that may affect his view of the deal. Surely you want a buyer that is confident and will proceed to conclusion?

  18. 3hrs is about the standard time quoted for a structural inspection Terry (based on our findings last time we moved) They will flag absolutely everything no matter how minor in order to justify their charges and time there but it's a formality for us it was a formality really...

I'm sure they'll be clutching at straws when it comes to things to report with your place so the buyer shouldn't have anything with any weight behind it to barter with you further :)

  19. I hope so. :)

  20. The Nottingham uni veterinary college is at Sutton Bonington. I have a house at Kegworth, the neighbouring village, that I let out to veterinary students at the uni.

If she decides to go to Nottingham and needs accommodation let me know and I will send you the details. Mates rates of course. :upyeah:
