  2. Been reminded why I try and stay clear of certain threads on here. Skin too thin for some knobheads and life’s too short.

    And had a run down to a charity open day to support my wife’s mental health cause.

    Took a run to Ross to give mini a good run after idling a bit rough in the warm weather
    It poured down on the way
    I stopped in Starbucks on the way :)

    Home now and the sun is shining

  6. We wee out that way today, coming back from the Forest, and it was heaving with rain on and off all the way to 3 shires where we stopped for a coffee and wander around and when we left all the way back to Gloucester.

  20. My Vespa developed an oil leak about a month ago and I've been procrastinating since then about fixing it. I was hoping it would go away. :innocent: I hate oil leaks. :mad:

    Anyway, the exhaust valve clearances are overdue, so I got my backside into gear and went to fix it today. The leak was traced to the valve cover gasket and to change it and get to the valves, I had to swing the whole engine down out of the body (another 60 mins and I could have removed the whole thing o_O) This rotates the valve cover up into the engine compartment.

    Off to the dealer for a gasket and some sundries now. He's an Aprilia dealer too, so I might have a look at the enemy. :)
