  1. I went to a restaurant last night and on the starter menu it said "Golden Soup".

    I asked the waittress what was in it?

    "24 carrots" came the reply.

  8. Nice pic Wassy,took our 10year old springer on Dartmoor as usual today,don't think the blighter will ever slow down.Went to the fracture clinic this morning,recommended physio,feel worse now.

  9. He was so excited when I got my beating gear out and tired himself out before the first drive. It was so hot on the moor but plenty of running water for him. Did five drives averaging two miles each so he’s probably done three times my distance over pretty rough terrain.

    Grouse shot today were helicoptered to London to be served in swanky restaurants tonight.
