  6. Another quick spin (30ish miles) on the 748R - have done 260 miles since buying in July which given it has averaged 500 miles a year in its 16 years isn't bad!
Really enjoying the handling and it does take off above 6,000 revs!
    :)

  11. Had an “oh sod it just do it” moment this morning. I’m 65 in January and have been talking about doing something special. Well we are now, return business class flights from Heathrow to Bologna booked and paid for, luxury NH group hotel in Florence booked and paid for and MotoGP Village tickets for Mugello booked. Also hoping to sort out a Ducati factory and museum visit for the Monday or Tuesday after the GP before flying home. Andy

  12. Fitted a horn with switch to the track bike. Now to see about insurance

  13. Unless you are riding on the road, why!?! You can get standalone theft insurance. Even if you snapped that blade in half, best you’d get is probably not much more than a grand and the impact on your other insurances would likely outweighs that.

Ride it, bin it, break it if smashed up that bad.

  14. I want to ride it on the road for testing things like gear indicator and setting up the new rear sets, etc. Don't want to waste track time.
