Arrived in Bologna earlier tonight(that would be Monday as I am still up). My son flew in from California and met us here. Paul and I spent some time today at the Fausti factory. It was a very interesting and nice visit. We made a stop at the Brescia hospital to see about a 25 year old young man, Luca, who was in a motorcycle accident on SP48 yesterday. Fortunately he knew some English, no one else there did. I sat on the ground with him until the ambulance arrived while Paul helped slow down oncoming traffic. 2 other women did come over and spoke Italian to him. I told him about the forum even though he rides a BMW. He thought I had a strange name! Turned out he was not at the Brescia hospital so not sure what happened to him. He had injuries but not sure extent of them. I hope he is okay and remembers what I said AND shows up on the forum. It was a busy day on the SP48. Motorcycles, cars and a mountain bike race. Some close calls, mostly cars crossing the center line IMO. Have to say, that we loved the Iseo area. I Due Roccoli hotel and restaurant was awesome. Not sure what to think of Bologna yet.
