End of the morning session on day 1. No accidents although 1 or 2 trips to the gravel for a couple of people. Love Cartagena and it's great to be back. Little overcast this morning but the sun has broken through and it's scorchio Both bikes running well although I'm struggling with Carole's tyre pressures. Tried to install 2 x loo seats but got nowhere fastlooked at another job(repeat business)and just had a beetroot sandwich with saladcream for lunch
Had Jamon Iberico, Manchago cheese, salad leaves with an oil and vinegar dressing and fresh crusty multi seeded bread from the local Carrefore for my lunch. Mad buggers on track at the moment so taking a breather. Still got 16 hours of track time to go, no point in getting knackered on the first day. Andy

Had a £60 parking ticket by them c*nts at the DoubleTree Hilton in Coventry so wont be using any of their hotels again! Make sure you pay the £5 parking charge even with a disabled badge......bastards!
In slovenia recently a menu item was cooked peasant style, also people who work on the land etc are called peasants, I was gobsmacked when a fella told me they literally call them peasants not sure if it's all unskilled low earners or just people who work on the land, funny how words mean different things in different countries, here in Spain last night I found out that Pajero means 'wanker' so if anybody owns a mitsibisha pajero don't be surprised if a Spaniard has a wry smile when you drive past.
It's a private parking company, best thing to do is ignore the 3 or 4 letters you will receive and carry on with your life, google the company and read what people say, you can download a response to post to them, personally I always ignore completely as do many, retail parks, coffee shops, motorway services all use these monsters, google private parking companies and see what you find.
Today has been a day of rest, didn't get my job done as the fella meeting us was late arriving near benalmadina so tomorrow we unload the van, and then load a ducati to take to the uk
Sat in la tasca tio andre in Cartagena having dined like royalty. Scoffed a fresh squid cooked "a la planche" that was to die for. It was served on an oil based mint sauce that was a revelation. Carole is just polishing off a chocolate dessert whilst I enjoy a coffee. A bit shy on beer as I've got to drive back to Puerto de Mazzaron in the pissing rain. Andy
