Bad luck, if it's any consolation a broken screen is in. it's the first thing my youngest daughter does when she gets a new one, and she's well trendy!
Drove from slovenia to Salzburg then to Munich got very lost, 200 odd miles from Berlin now and in bed, shocking weather today lots of rain and a bit windy.
we can take it on the chin Cream.. maybe you have had experiences with "old before their time" 60 year olds?
Last night, son had his maser results. A good strong distinction. Mega proud. First in my family with a degree. Fort with a masters. We’re hopeful he will go on to a phd at some point. Oh and fitted some sliders to the beemer and wired up the nav power. Shame I can’t find anywhere to mount the power pack!! If only I could just connect direct without the big box
Finished fitting satnav cabling, bit what a PITA trying to find somewhere to tuck the huge box away. Not sure I refitted the cockpit fairing properly...and the clips that push/pull in wont last long....! Also fitted charger cable. And forgot how terrible the design of two bolts under the back of the seat is...!!! So far: screen, satnav, power, swingarm bobbins, front & rear sliders, optimate. Reckon that’s more than I did to the multi in 3 yrs
Just packed my bag before crowding the shower and then off to bed. In the morning I’m catching the 6:15 bus into the hospital to meet my surgeon, supposedly at 7:15, followed by the anaesthetist about 8:30 and then in for surgery at 9:00. Gone through this preparation before surgery a fair few times in the last 12 years but I still feel apprehensive. Hopefully this time tomorrow night I’ll be tucked up, back in my own bed, drugged for numbness and counting the days before I’m mobile and allowed to drive. Riding a bike is probably going to be off limits for about 5 or 6 weeks. Andy
I’m going to the dentist for the first time in a year in a couple weeks got anxiety about it already!!
