  4. I had a ' bad hunter pizza' for dinner tonight, and very nice it was too. :)

  10. I feel stupid. I lost the pub trivia quiz on the last question last night.

The question was, "Where do women have the curliest hair"?

    Apparently, the answer is Fiji.‌

  11. just had a phone call from The National Itching Society, asking if i want to buy any scratch cards?

  12. Feeling like a total muppet. Took the bus in to Basingstoke to collect a medical support cushion so I can sit down on a chair. Had a putter around town, got a hair cut, had some lunch, got a couple of ready meals just for ease and caught the bus back home. Got to my stop and dropped the bags and my coat as I stood up. Like a twat, in the melee I left my nice new and fekking expensive medical support cushion on the bus ! Dumb, dumb, dumb. No-one answering the phone at the bus depot so hoping an e-mail to their enquiries will do the job. Andy

  15. Don’t get that until May next year despite my birthday being in January. Andy

  17. A return fare for me into town is £5:20 for about a 12 mile each way journey. My guess is the car would use about £3 worth of diesel and parking would cost up to about £5 for a 3 hour stay. As I was on my own almost finding something to occupy myself, makes pretty good financial sense and I could have a beer with my lunch. This last trip won’t make financial sense if I don’t get my cushion back ..... bugger, bugger, bugger  Andy

  19. Well.... today day wise and tomorrow date wise was the start of my stem cell transplant to give me some sort of remission with my battle with Myeloma, I can’t quite believe it, what a year and quite a battle at the beginning.
The early days of the transplant I really didn’t think I was going to make it through and was a dark time for me.
It’s been in my thoughts the last few days and especially with the nights drawing in.
I have had a few tears and reality sets in quite often so i could dwell on the negative or I can celebrate the first year of my new life :)

So here I am still fighting and how wonderful every day is

A big love goes out to each of you here for all your support and messages and love that you give me

Here’s to the next year of survival and to all of us fighting whatever battle we are given

    Thank you
