Why do the English have a fascination with leaves?

Charity hedgecutting for three odd hours today,a small sacrifice to make for a sunday to free up my coming week for that all important "freedom drug".

 

Took my old 748 out this morning after suddenly realising last night I haven't ridden it since it went fot MoT in April. As always it started instantly, I've never had another bike that starts so easily from cold and then it was off for a blast and again as always I fell in love with it all over again, after owning it from new for 16 years and having bought a few other Ducs as well I still get the most pleasure from this one and can't imagine ever being without it while I am still able to ride. If you've never ridden one you don't know what you're missing. Definately going to make sure it goes out more often.

 

Been to the bike show and drooled over the bmw hp4.
Not much for sale there this year as I wanted some new d air leathers but the selection was shit.
Also I knew when I had come within 100metres of the Harley Davidson stand because the sea of shit feaux hard man beards and braces was rife along with the stench of body odour.
Ffs you helmets it’s 2018 personal hygiene is not optional. You are not a big hard man just because you smell of unwashed testicles.

Drank beer whilst catching up on all the MotoGP racing at Valencia and been treated to a home cooked, Malysian inspired, sticky pork and rice dinner served with a 7 year old bottle of old Garnacha vine wine . Not sure given the tenderness of my back that was ideal preparation for the walk back home but home I am and luxuriating in the pleasant numbness of being a little bit pissed. Andy
