Chores, chores, chores. Washing, sewing, vacuuming and getting bag ready for another jaunt to 'The Fatherland'. Sun just come out, though, so guess the snow will be gone in a few hours.
Planning motorbike ride with friends cancelled due to weather so did regular early Sunday morning MTB ride with friends instead. Bloody cold and muddy!!! Cleared out the Chickens and now waiting impatiently for the F1 to start.....
About 2-3" about 8 miles east of Liverpool (m62/m57 junction), and a bit more heading north and east (Kirkby, Skem, St Helens). guess the weather front dropping the snow came from the east, and never quite made it to the west coast.
Washing and ironing done hoovered and polished now to roast dinner in between a bit of music Got to keep warm somehow it's freezing here
I've fannied about on here intermittently during the day, watched F1 this morning, watched the last TT Legends that I Sky+'d, watched Mrs Brown's Boys, cleared a path through the snow for my house and the girl next door, slept an hour, and now I'm back on here for a bit.

Spent my Sunday on a roof 8 floors up, bailing out some idiots who pretend to be professionals. Good job I was using an oxy/acetylene kit, otherwise I'd have froze to death. Back on site early early tomorrow morning to finish off before the clients get wind of what's happened...I should be knighted for this shit, y'know.
Spent the last 2 days sat in a freezing house waiting for someone to turn up and fix my fancy all singing and dancing Eco friendly heating system! i now know why it's eco friendly- it never fucking works so uses no electricity! Now the hot water has gone tits up too.
not a air-con unit outside then, a air source heat pump for you heating/ hot water? , setting up quite a few of these nowadays, normally work ok, prob lost gas as joints not tightened enough
Replanted basil and mint in real flower pots with posh "cache-pots" - whatever you call those in English. Planted seed trays with tomato and wild flower seeds (see what, if anything, comes up). Put everything in warm kitchen (where it will stay for the next couple of months). Went to gym - drained myself of all energy. Went straight to band practice (some energy refound listening to shrieking guitars, growling bass and smashing drums). Tried to watch the F1 I recorded - got booted off TV after an hour (and still haven't seen the end). Now about to finish the superb Feast of the Goat by Vargas Llosa. Recommended if you haven't read it.
