I love the work that goes into these but surely they are a nightmare to ride. That will only handle in a straight line, surely.
Yeah it's a rough ride & the turning radius is quite large but like you say they are good for straight roads, the bike is loud as hell, the motor is 1300cc S&S so it goes pretty good!
I am a peaceful soul until someone upsets me.. I lost my rag at 5 am... Moron next door .. Decided to leave screaming child for an hour .. So I got an hours sleep all night. I ended up screaming at her through the wall and then threw stuff at the wall ... Which is not like me at all. The noise of me hurling stuff and shouting made her do something .. I've never wanted to rearrange someone's face before but right now ...
Not a good day today.Arms and hands decided they would not work properly so I will not be going to the Horsham event tomorrow.Cold weather is not helping and I am really fed up now.
Today the weather has been lovely, so after going into Salisbury this morning to buy baby stuff I decided to get the bike out and go for a nice ride for a few hours. Popped over to Winchester to MR, met p with a nice chap riding a red mutley on the way. Had a good look at the 1199R they had in over a cup of coffee and got my name down for the trackday on the 28 may. sometimes living down south has its benefits!
Long overdue job done. Because I am too tight to by a new webcam (FFS), I have spent a couple of hours getting my old one, which was happy with my old WinXP 32-bit PC, to work on my current Win 7 64-bit job. I knew from previous experience and research that the webcam drivers wouldn't install on the new machine under any circumstances, so I managed to cludge it in on the WinXP virtual machine I installed on my current PC a while back. Some nasty soundcard related crashing and horribly garbled noises later, plus an install of Skype to replace the outgoing MSN Messenger, means I am back in business. Now, if only my friends wanted to talk to me on Skype, it may have felt the pain was all worth it
