Just paid my Income tax. It does confuse me a little as for the last 3 years all my work has been sub contract work so I have 20% stopped at source, takeing into account my personal tax allowance I dont see why I should be paying more, I thought I should be getting some back.

It's on the cards!! I might have to come out of retirement just to pay my income tax, it's a vicious circle, I wish I had told the inland revenue I didn't want to join there club when I first started work.

Cold ? Balmy +2 degrees here so joined a mate for a ride over to Snells for his first annual service. Fried brekky in the Station cafe and a pleasant round the houses route back home. Warmed up to +3 degrees Andy

 

Andy, the gritters have been out, there's ice on the roads and it's freezing up here, I went out to the van a couple of hours ago and I still haven't warmed up.
