  3. Observing from afar how it's working out for you there ,,, nope.

    The UK situation is making headlines on mainstream US TV. That is, Americans, who find themselves endlessly fascinating and important (as embodied by Trump) are actually talking about YOU prior to talking about themselves.

    Now that puts Brexit in the category of one truly landmark historical clusterf**k. :upyeah:

  7. Just paid my Income tax. :( It does confuse me a little as for the last 3 years all my work has been sub contract work so I have 20% stopped at source, takeing into account my personal tax allowance I dont see why I should be paying more, I thought I should be getting some back. :thinkingface:

  9. It's on the cards!! I might have to come out of retirement just to pay my income tax, it's a vicious circle, I wish I had told the inland revenue I didn't want to join there club when I first started work. ;)

  10. Just nipped out and put a new battery on the van, blumin ek its cold today, now got to code, re-set the date and time on the radio.

  18. Cold ? Balmy +2 degrees here so joined a mate for a ride over to Snells for his first annual service. Fried brekky in the Station cafe and a pleasant round the houses route back home. Warmed up to +3 degrees :upyeah: Andy

  19. Andy, the gritters have been out, there's ice on the roads and it's freezing up here, I went out to the van a couple of hours ago and I still haven't warmed up.
