  1. Wasn't like that when I went there 3 years ago, fingers crossed it picks up in Italy for end of this month, snowing today but looking to be unseasonably warm from next week

  2. Sat here at Portsmouth boat delayed until 8pm, maybe he puts his foot down overnight, just saw all my documents are water damaged, my sat nav has stopped working, side light bulb has packed up, the van in front looks like he has a good number, Spanish motocross holidays might give him a ring

  3. Made it to the end of the week in a new job.. i’d been ‘off’ for 5 months - what a fucking shock to the system I’d forgotten what 6am looked like.. :scream:

Gone solo into the contracting game - it’s taken HSBC 3 weeks to set up a business account for my LTD and i have to wait up to 10 more days for all the docs to activate my account (my current account has been with them for >20 years). Set up an account with starling, had it linked to my accounting software, with a card in the post inside 15 minutes.. guess which one just lost my business. :broken_heart:

Went and picked up my new tool box, just need to decide wether it’s best to the left or right of the fireplace in the lounge-what do you think?

  6. Finished the planters in the front garden. IMG_0570.jpg IMG_0571.jpg IMG_0565.jpg

Then carried on in the back garden building a planter and a decking patio.

  7. As I sit on this friggin boat heading towards you my only thought is how on earth can you write legibly after finding beer at €2.70 a pint?

Although in south Prague in a bar a couple of doors down by the union hotel we were paying bit under a pound a pint ....highly recommended.

  14. Took me 3 hours to write that correctly, must dash the suns out.

  15. Made the national news caught in the debacle that was Basingstoke and the M3 yesterday afternoon. Of all the thousands of cars, someone got a picture of mine slip sliding up the A340 published. That said, my heartfelt thanks go out to the small groups of total strangers all around Basingstoke who came out to help keep traffic moving but especially outside the hospital. True community spirit at its best. Andy
