Went to Brands Hatch today and spent most of the afternoon fiddling with a 1975 Honda RS 125 , bloody thing ran on Avgas 101 octane and was ridden by a bloke who raced it in 1977 2 stroke racing. I managed to sort his steering damper out and give him some suspension advice, bloody thing went like a rocket!! He is racing it again this year. Lovely fellor
Today I have watched the evening news with utter disbelief, some fuckin nutjobs (3) have gone beserk with guns and shot up 2 mosques in Christchurch and killed 40 people, and injured at least 48, it is utterly unbelievable.
And it’s todays current crop of nationalistic, protectionist arsehole politicians that fuel this kind of radicalisation (on both sides of the divide)

That's the thing we don't really have any "out there" right wing Politicans in NZ, this was done and perpetuated by private citizens, it beggars fuckin belief.
"Allegedly" the main shooter is an Aussie who has recently returned from 7 years overseas travel including Pakistan, before his travel he was apparently a caring and nice human being, so something must have changed him in that time.
Yeah it’s amazing how no one notices when seemingly nice and decent people become radicalised. There has to be tell tail signs that family or friends pick up on.

Penalise me for saying this if you want............but IMO it was only a matter of time before something like it happened. Unfortunately in the back of my mind is the chance some (or many) of the Muslim religion that are protesting about it, probably cheered the attack on the WTC and supported the ISIS atrocities.
I thought they had stopped the use of Avgas for racing - I know we had to stop using it and go to unleaded.
Well this morning I picked up my car from the garage where it's been since yesterday. Nothing major but I couldn't be arsed to pick it up last night. We've finally got round to hanging up the final few stragglers of pics we weren't sure where to hang, if we were going to hang at all. So that's nice. And tonight we are going to see Mike and the Mechanics (ft Roachford) in Sheffield. This will be the third time we will have seen them.(Busy time for us gig wise - Next Friday I've got Vintage Trouble in Manchester and the following Saturday the Fun Lovin' Criminals in Leeds ) Tomorrow I was going have the day test riding the new Diavel but all the forecasts are saying that it's going to snow tomorrow round here. So I've had to postpone it again until after the Manchester Bike Show next weekend :/
