I managed to pour boiling water over my thumb and inside my hand last night It’s stinging a bit this morning On a nicer note last day at work today for a week Roll on the sunshine and living out doors
Eldest daughter is here with her family, Mrs Ex and youngest fly in this evening - that's me done for the next 10 days
took the scrambler out for the first time this morning... just an hour n a half round trip across london to site and back (left my phone at work yesterday).. I wont write a review just yet as it would be scathing... perhaps i will get used to it...
You need to get it out on the open road and learn what liberties you can take. Inbox me if I can help, they’re mega. Worth learning to love - unlike Faultystradas, f@£&ing w4n&ing thing.
I drove to Helensburgh today. Traffic around Glasgow was shite. Grandchildren are at a party so I’ve not seen them yet.
Fetched the Enfield back from service and had lunch going a ride out about 7.00 on my Supersport S wife's been in York all day so had a peaceful day
Driven from the Midlands to Euro tunnel then down to our gaff in France, all in about 700 miles. Filled the fridge up with Vin Blanc and Cidre Doux. Sitting in the back garden having an ice cold one after cutting the grass, met the Septic Tank man n booked the replacement tank in for October. Bins in the background for Ducbird.
Shifted 75 paving slabs and a tonne of sub base from the kerb side to the back garden. Knackered big time. Andy
I do need to learn its boundaries for sure... I forgot about the new rubber on it (I was told only 50 miles on em) and chucked into a round about at a decent rate of knots (it is one of those bikes!!) and lost the arse big time... cant fault the bike for that , my mistake... but it does feel so light I wonder how much grip it will have... it was a good save and got the blood pumping!! better than coffee...
