Now back home after a lovely weekend up in Helensburgh. Mind you the lovely weather helped. It was lovely seeing the grandchildren for the first time since Xmas. The eldest (just 7yo) is learning the piano and I have to say he’s exceptional for his age. Doesn’t take after me that’s for sure. The youngest (5yo) cant compete in the academic stakes so plays the clown all the time. We had a blast playing silly games the whole weekend. Probably won’t see them now until July or August
Finally got the number one bike out today (first time this year)and had a trip down to eastbourne with a right pair of marvicsthe bikes behaviour was impeccable and only one miss/upside down gear change cockup,The weather was perfect for riding/not to hot etc.
After aborting lifting my beam in when one person forgot he was supposed to turn up at 10am, I took Mrs and Mini Ex to a country house and for a pub lunch. Reconvened with a lifting party at 6pm and success at last
I said to my wife at lunchtime, "Elsie, tell me the truth - Am I the only one you've been with ??" "Yes" she replied - "All the others were nines and tens"
Dropped the vibroplate back to the tool hire shop. Loaded the V4 onto the trailer and delivered it to MR for its first service, outstanding recall work and get it track ready. Back up the motorway to collect the V4R track bodywork from the painters and then back down the motorway to drop the bodywork off at MR. Took a nose at the Oxford MR race bike in the workshop and ended up ordering a pair of R&G stop lock protectors and buying a side stand foot and enduro sump plate for the Multistrada. Back indoors now and trying to decide where to go for dinner tonight as a surprise for Carole. Andy
Painting - again. Ceilings, I hate painting ceilings. Still they're done now, walls tomorrow which are easier comparatively

Hey, only since we parted ways, and most of them have run off due to Mrs Ex and Mini Ex's frequent visits, but I have my priorities right
