Getting pani serviced at Snells. Just had fry up in railway cafe. Perfect antidote for hangover. Edit: 7.5k service cost me only £175. Snells is still my fave Ducati dealership.
Thought about a run down to Boxhill as I haven't been there for 6 or 7 years but decided against as weather forecast said showers at some point and didn't fancy the 80 or so miles back round a wet M25. So around midday it was looking alright outside and I got the SPS out and took a ride down to the Bikeshed. Sitting outside having a pint and you guessed, it pissed down. Only for 5 min or so and sun is shining now but roads are still soaked so sitting waiting for them to dry, don't want to drink any more as riding so getting a bit bored now. Very quiet on here today, guess most are out doing bank holiday things.
Currently enjoying some of the best roads Somerset and north Devon have to offer. Bit chilly but having fun. Andy
Fixed the injector problem on the rsv4. Went out for a blat.... Without setting a thing it feels very plush... (ttx 2) Also fitted my (taking the piss tail tidy) to the zed... Very pleased.
Second Ducati through its test Got soaked going and leaving Rest of the day spent watching MotoGp qualifying and polishing the MV Now got to entertain No4 grandson
Been to the hospital for an Endoscopy. Not a pleasant experience, only had the throat spray to numb it a bit. Nothing found though, so that's a good thing. Now sitting at home having ice cream and drinking cider watching MotoGP qualifiying.
I’ve just fitted my Ohlins forks to the 998 and had the vague idea to take it for a blast in the morning. Here’s the view from my bathroom window. Guess I’ll be making other plans!
We were meant to go to our granddaughter’s 7th birthday but SWMBO has man flu so we are giving it a swerve as we don’t want to pass on the lurgy to anyone. So it’s football (watching Derby get to the playoffs as I can’t see them losing and Boro winning), and MotoGP today. And Derby score as I type And I’ve made a start in pulling luggage, clothes and accessories together for my Mugello trip in three weeks time.
Painted the roof of my static-caravan using white exterior gloss. Unfortunately a few flies got stuck & have merged within the second coat. Hopefully this will equalize the temperature range during summer'
Took a road I haven't taken before on my ride this morning and boy oh boy am I am glad I did. Who needs the Stelvio Pass when this in the doorstep. Virtually devoid of other vehicles, just me, a young learner on a Suzuki GN125 (in the picture in the yellow vest) and a Lotus Exige S in the far far distance. There's actually 2x as much road as you can see but half of it is out of view.
