Went out for a few hours this morning around West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire. It was cold but fun. Service light is now well and truly on, and the Diavel is in for it’s first service on Wednesday This afternoon will be dedicated to GoT and Line of Duty

It's The Healy Pass on the Beara Peninsula, between Adrigole and Lauragh. the locals reckon it's better to ride up from Adrigole then come back via the Caha pass (if you're doing the loop). I'll be attacking it that way round in the next few days Another good one is the Gap of Dunloe between Moll's Gap and just outside of Killarney, just across the Iveagh peninsula. Both roads are in and around the area of Kenmare. Let me know your intended route and I'll map out some roads for you.
Today I was fitting of a pair of Michelin Road5s ahead of Dolomites trip... my assistant MAX2H tyre changing kit. Works well, I'm impressed. Would have been nice if I could have warmed the new tyres in the sun but that was a non starter. How do you get the callipers off a 1260s with the larger disks and M50 callipers without scratching the rims? Was a real struggle, seems like an interference fit. Wound up pushing the pads/pistons all the way back that just gave enough wiggle room though the double banjo on left calliper as still scraping across the rim... Only safe way is to maybe unbolt the disks but this seems like overkill. Plenty of cleaning and careful reassembly. It's a PITA that the silencer needs to come off for the rear wheel to come out, far easier than the MV though, small mercies. No time for a test ride once I'd finished. That'll have to be tomorrow.
Out in the vdub. Never missed a beat. Love the flat 6 on the chat. Went to look at a learner car for my lad, and boy what a bunch of shit that was.
Back to work for the two of us today after her birthday break. She was in the Abbey Road studios making music, whilst I have the rather less glamorous task of dry lining and wiring 500 sqm of nicely dried concrete (or at least setting up all the lasers then watching whilst my extravagantly paid employees do).
So did I (see above post). It’s a curse but until I can find a way of making bills pay themselves, I’m stuck with it!
I went to see the National Orchestra of Bermuda playing in Huddersfield Town Hall last night. It was going great, until the bloke playing the triangle disappeared.
Looks like Troy on the right, met him in valencia the first year he rode the aprilia in wsb. the chap on the left? dunno who he is
