Good to know, my girlfriend flies to Paris early tomorrow morning and is then getting the train here. She's rented an apartment and is here until Tuesday. She'll be kicking her heels outside of visiting hours. I had heard its a decent City so its encouraging to have that confirmed. Thank you all for your good wishes. Trying to entertain myself as best I can, yesterday's exercise was to frustrate the wee monitor nurse who's a bit grouchy and smells of fags. Being a gastro intestinal ward we all get issued with these 2.5 litre tubs with snap on lids and are required to decant our wee into them. Game on; I filled mine to the brim yesterday and as firmly as possible snapped down the lid. Nurse was not impressed as she spilt quite a bit opening it before tipping it down the loo (and there I was thinking they were making AddBlue on the side). She's put a label on the top saying "+2.5l" as the 24h period isn't up yet, I think that's a challenge... Until yesterday I was in a shared twin ward with a nice gentleman with a stoma. I'm sure the catering staff were having a laugh with my meal creation. Meals here are created specifically for each patient dependant on their condition. Looked exactly like the contents of his bag...
Good to see / hear that you are on the mend and still have a good sense of fun! Hope you keep on improving and are out of there soon!
Still working on that flat roof..... Trimming the edges and upstand for the sky light..... First layer of fibreglass later.. hopefully.

Day 2 in Florence and visited a Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition. Fantastic is the only word I can use. Returned to a music bar we found yesterday for lunch and got a round of applause when we both ordered a litre jug of beer Had a lovely plate of mixed Tuscan salumi and cheese. Tried to resist but going to visit the Omega shop just outside the hotel Andy
Bought one of these and after a test drive couple of weeks ago, went for it along with the billet pack. Pick up end of July and already bought a HP Corse exhaust lol
You’ll have to let us know what you think. Have been thinking of changing brands for some time and like the look of those. Congratulations, are you going to change your name to jimboxer now?
Day started with clear blue skys, got the 7:30 train from Florence to Borgo San Lorenzo, then taxi to the circuit. Unbelievable atmosphere even this early as fans flood in. Can imagine tomorrow is going to be mental. Currently enjoying a little bit of breakfast during MotoGP FP3. Andy
Today’s blast took me to Liverpool, no idea why, the city was full of flags and congestion. The blast was a .... blast
Well arrived safe and sound in Pisa yesterday, picked up the bikes, rode to hotel, dumped bags the had a 2 hour ride into the mountains to familiarise ourselves with the local area and t’other side of the road riding wise. Later on we went for something to eat and I met up with Chiz and JoeC. Which was nice Chiz was well on the way to being ratarsed then and according to some of our group who were out till 3.30am who met them several times later on around town he was on his was to being comatosed then! Today we’ve done around 180 miles in the Tuscan mountains. Brilliant roads and fantastic weather! Coffee break in Panzano and a lovely lunch in Volterra. Here are some pics of today. Tonight is gonna be a quiet one as we’ve got a 6am start to go to Mugello

The wife left me at lunchtime today, saying that she could no longer tolerate my obsession with football. I would mind too much, except for the fact that we've only been married for seven seasons
