Today I have been laying some Indian Paving slabs, I think I'm getting a bit to old for this, can't wait for the weekend!! Steve
Left as in Cheshire? The stone from there is far too soft, only use is for footballers new build kitchens!
Going to India for some old slabs seems a long journey, local B&Q cement poored, luvely jubbly You can just imagine it, some family in India wakes up, let's the dog out in the garden and shout's, mum, mum, them effin Brits have stolen our patio again
Scratched round the alps. Dodging monsoons. Adventure bikes everywhere. Apart from us Brit idiots. Pani R1 & R1M. Shocking fuel economy on R1M. Finally mastered downhill nadgery hairpins with umpteen cambers. 3pm, its pissin it down so on beers now.
Either that or they use Yorkshire flags with Lancashire cobbled edges! We’re using Brazilian stone, it’s a crazy mixed up world.
Had a better day today. Was 39°C out so staying in was a no brainer. Also been a bit more careful about wearing the sling all the time (bloody nuisance). Will see what tomorrow brings.
Wear a black sling and add to it a black eye patch with skull and crossbones on and be a pirate for a day, sounds silly but it will provide many chuckles and some light relief
