Arrived in Chamouille after an uneventful, mostly A26, Route des Anglais, journey and now partaking of a 1664 at the hotel. Andy
Spent most of the morning standing in the River Tay which although the fish weren't biting was still lovely place to be. Going back there this evening when it's cooler and not so bright, last chance of a salmon before the holiday ends.
Never salmon fished, like a bit of fluff chucking for trout & would love to pike fish a wild river like the Tay in winter.
Wise choice, the boat ride is not a big boat like a ferry and the ride can be very choppy. Once on shore though the horse and cart will pick up who ever is with you and the island is gorgeous. No roads more just pathways and lanes. I presume they still take you across the very narrow causeway that is 300ft up (le coupee) over to little sark nice little tea room/hotel La Sablonnerie. Not cheap on the island as this is tourist season so that is when they make their money. If you haven't already seen it http://www.sark.co.uk/
Event on today so not much to see bike wise. But here’s a pic of a nice cold lager on a hot day for you......
Anthony, just to rub salt into the wounds,i have been out on the bike today with a nice cool breeze running down the leathers.
I wish it was as simple in shape! But I will rely on self learning thanks, it's part of the fun, and Chad will weld as I don't want to learn that particular art
Yeh, no use spending years perfecting to Chads level for one bike - it would take 10 years longer than it has already
