  1. A long list of @Exige ‘s what? His ex ex’s or his current ex’s?

Don’t worry, forget I asked, I’m not sure I want to know the answer:confused:

  7. Stuck in slow moving traffic on the way back from Folkestone on Saturday, the Multistrada was running a bit hotter than usual. This morning, I removed the crash bars, the beak and the side panels to get at the EvoTech radiator guard to have a look at the state of the radiator matrix behind it. On the plus side, the guard has done a good job of protecting the matrix. On the down side, because the guard hides the matrix, I’ve missed that the matrix has over time got clogged with crud thrown up by the front wheel. 30 minutes of alternating warm soapy water from a Hozelock hand held sprayer with an air line has shifted it all though. Also took 15 to 20 large, dead insect bodies out of the oil cooler guard. Out and about this afternoon catching up having been away. Andy

  14. Just finished fitting some farkles to the bike after a cracking ride out for a few hours. Next thing is to remove those frigging reflectors on the forks.

  15. Well we’ve had a bit of progress today..........window trims all fitted so the only thing is for him to come back in a week or so to sort the doors out properly once the plasterer has finished and the dust has diminished.

The plasterer has made a start and the walls now have plaster board. The ceiling should be done tomorrow and with a bit of luck he may get it all skimmed tomorrow. But if I was a betting man I’d say it’s more likely to be finished on Thursday.

The plumber also came first thing.......connected up rather pipework then disappeared to get the two 2m radiators we’ve specified for the room. We never saw him again. Hopefully he’ll be back tomorrow.

I’ll need to get my project manager (SWMBO) to chase the builders to find out when he’s back on the job to do some piddling stuff and when the electrician is back to connect all the electrics. Then she’ll need to arrange the flooring to be fitted.

One things for certain it’ll still be in a state for when #1 son and family come for the weekend.

  19. Forgot to strap bike to abba-skylift as I was releasing it & fell over. Broke a few things that annoys the hell out of me. As I've had a ball ache trying to get tyres onto rims using manual kit. Due to the perculiar triangular rim shaped enduro edge. Reverted to friends electric car wheel changer. Got to now fix the odd thing & try to forget this day. Eventually I'll buy the professional wheel changer as its deals with this scenario in minutes rather than hours of time lost.
