Went and had a look round Cardiff University with my daughter. Very nice too and she loved the Chemistry department and the general area so she’s happy. Sheffield tomorrow.
I had a nice surprise and picked up my brand new V4S today Fitted some of the Evotech parts I've bought and then did a quick 50 miles, can't wait until I can go over 8krpm. Got to get it run in within 2 weeks so plenty of riding for me.

Today went in search of local newspapers with an article about my high school trap teams performance at a state tournament. We qualified in the top 40 at a state championship to get invited to participate in a state tournament. Out of over 300 teams we placed 25th then finished in 24th out of 40 at the tournament. One of our kids also placed in the top 100 individual competition. This out of 11,800 participants statewide. Our skeet team placed 1st in their conference. One team member medaled as top gun overall. They are awesome! Well worth the time I spend coaching. Anyway, found and bought several newspapers then went home to find that one of our garage door control panels malfunctioned and was opening and closing the garage door randomly! Called tech support and we'll be getting a new control panel. THEN realized the air conditioner hadn't turned on for a while...it is also not working...at all. Called my brother-in-law (he has a heating and cooling business) and tomorrow morning we will be providing breakfast for him and my sister when he comes over to fix the problem. So glad we decided to not go out of town this weekend! Maybe I'll finally have time to get out and do some riding this week.
Garage doors can open and close mysteriously due to someone else nearby using a remote key designed for something completely different. We had a roller door at work which would open and close itself mysteriously. Eventually tracked it to a new employee in the unit next door. Every time he parked his car and locked it it would cause the roller door to open or close. Worth checking before the expense of a new control panel
Got up early and took the wheels off the S1000RR and gave the hidden bits a good clean. Drove to sheffield to meet a bloke who'd bought a load of parts from me. Got some paint matched and mixed for touching up some chips on my S1000RR wheels. Got a new set of tyres fitted to the wheels. Picked up a big torque wrench from Halfords for the rear nut on the V4S. Now just got home, going to refit my wheels and hopefully give the whole bike a good going over and get some photos for the for sale ad.
