  3. Did a bit of very overdue grass cutting this morning along with bramble chopping to prevent poking someone’s eye out on the footpath that runs down the side of my garden. Feeling suitably pleased with myself, took the Multistrada out for ride in the sunshine. Like many riders, I have come across nobbish car drivers moving to the white line to make overtaking harder but today I came across a total twat who took every opportunity to put his Mercedes 500SL 3 feet over the white line to prevent me from overtaking. When the time came, as I knew it would, I inadvertently grabbed a little too much throttle and ended up overtaking him on the back wheel but I did manage a cheery wave as I passed :D Lovely day for it and now just got home having taken Carole out for a meal and a couple of bottles of chilled Cobra. 6. It certainly is, and I’m pleased to say it doesn’t look too big for the room either. Which I have to admit, despite measuring everything, I was worried about. :)

I think SWMBO is spending tomorrow accessorising the room with rugs, lamps and side tables. I’ll be happy when she’s stopped spending!

  7. First opportunity to clean the bike after last week’s trip around the UK so took it. Then went out for a short spin in the sun for an ice cream (trying not to get it too dirty in the process)
