I went to see my mum on her 93rd birthday. She’s doing really well. She’d been out for lunch on Friday with family so wasn’t up for partying on Saturday. So I went to my nieces birthday party at a village cricket match. Lovely sunny day, good family gathering. In the morning I’ll be up at 6am and off to sunny Hunny (Hunstanton) for breakfast with Bazzer. Both of us on 1199S Triclore’s. Probably back in time for the GP. That’s not a bad weekend.
Today we are doing a loop taking in Aberystwyth then over to Oswestry then working our way back up north and home. The weather forecast looks shit
I am too hungover to drive to golf this morning, currently waiting for a lift from a sober mate, but on previous experience, this will not end well on the greens. Fekkin hate getting drunk at my age nowadays
I was just thinking it would be ironic if you used the 748R for the journey to purchase something to make the V4S feel better as you’d bought the 748R and the V4S was feeling miffed. The Z was a good, neutral, choice. But then again maybe I’ve humanised the bikes too much
Sanded and coated the newly built pagoda with lots of lovely Danish Oil. Took three hours in the hot sun (yesterday)
Well, I took a leaf out of your book and opened a can or two of Belgium’s finest wife beater, and very nice it was too! (I can confirm the wife is in fine fettle this morning)
Getting to grips with two pairs of grubby Daytona boots in preparation for our trip to Germany. The Daytona boot care products are IMO exceptional, the Black Refresher does exactly that, brings the scuffed leather back to black, the Leather Polish gets absorbed into the leather, making it very supple, the Waterstop does just that and the Turbogrease keeps the zips nice and smooth. Ever since I was a kid and expected to clean my own school shoes and as an Army cadet, my parade uniform boots, I’ve found polishing very therapeutic and calming. Odd I know but there you are, each to their own. Andy

One survey and collected some ductwork for the week... Stupid busy, but these bikes and holidays won't pay for themselves. Hoping to insure, MOT, Tax and get out on a couple of Duke's by the end of the Month.
