That’s a bastard of a push then. Too.[/QUOTE]It was hell of a push but when I put it on the boat it was on the low deck with a loa of trailers. They had to get them off before the car deck could be lowered. I had a good head start and they let me take a short cut through to border control. It was a long push but nowhere near as long as it could have been.not all border force workers are jobsworths
Saturday, Mot’d the Panigale. Straight through, no problem. It’s done 17,000 miles now, when I had the Desmo service at 15k miles it didn’t even need any shims. ‘It’s as good as new’ I was told. I don’t get why people worry about mileage and Ducati’s. My ST4 had done 50,000 miles when I parted with it. All trouble free. Spent the rest of the day looking after the father-in law and repairing the back door on his cottage. Today I’ve been given the job of replacing his rotten rear garage door and door frame. I’d rather be riding but there you go.
Got up at 3.30, shower, 04.00 breakfast, walk 100 yards from hotel to airport, boarded and ready to go, Greece here we come! Just would be nice if they prohibited any flights before 10 am, hate early morning, middle of the night flights with a passion, not sorry to leave the rain behind though lol!
Continuing the struggle today to remove the swinging arm pin on my Greeves Scottish, the pin is well and truly seized in the frame, as can be seen i have moved it so far but at the price of wrecking the two main nuts ( cycle or BSF threaded ) using an impact gun and packing it out with spacers bit by bit. Plan B engine out and forks off and find the use of a press and some heat combined. Happy days.
Try and include The Black Mountain not to be confused with the Black Mountains. LLangadog - Brynamman .
Visited the Mosel valley and stopped off at the Nurbergring F1 track. Just clocked up 1000km since Calais on Friday morning. Apologies but I'm no Chizel so no pictures and no witty commentary. Likely to be very wet tomorrow so might have a day off the bike before heading back to the UK on Tuesday. Andy
