Took the Pani out for a good blast today, via Loomies and Snells. Sun shone and roads quiet in a few places so had a good ride.
Arrived at the Premier Inn just outside Honiton as our half way stop to Plymouth for the ferry to Santander tomorrow. The weather is sh*t as forecast so a snack in the restaurant and several bottles of Peroni before bed. The Picos and northern Portugal await our arrival. Andy

After waiting & getting frustrated for much of the week,better weather arrived today so finally managed to install the roadside kerbs & take the R out for exercise but a few scary moments with the sidewinds.
It’s pissed down most of today This morning our old next door neighbour visited with her 90yo old mum who we’d not seen since Xmas. Lovely old lady, and though she’s not very mobile she has all her marbles. When they left SWMBO wanted to go looking at a show house in Golcar, but when we got there it wasn’t finished. So we came home and since then we’ve done bot all other than watch the athletics world championship from Doha. Tomorrow I think I’ll catch up on my Bike mags as I’ve got 3 months worth to read.

when I arrived they were fettling what looked to be a fully restored 888. Didn’t look to be that busy as Rob got on with my suspension set up almost immediately .
Out on the Pani R today. Bit damp in places but managed to give if some on dry bits. Christ it spins up for a big V twin. Over 8k it’s totally mental. Suits me so much more than the V4 but I do need to set up the suspension. Far to firm for my weight currently. Loving life.
Yup. Not touched anything yet. Blame the 748. But, going to have a play and then, when I F it up, take it to a pro to set me up properly.
