Tests and more f*cking tests. And now have drugs I’m on forever. Now sat watching rugby on iPad, knowing full well that between 2300-0300 I will be booted to another part of the building as I’ve been here more than one day
I’m sure I must have seen something but I’m buggered if I can remember it...........so why are you incapacitated?
Doing the in laws a favour and decorating their bedroom. Easy job I thought. Got to window sill. Rotten through. Ladders out, up on the roof. Cut out all the rot. New wood in. back inside. Patch window board. Replace window spar. Full day on what should have been 2 hours. back tomorrow. And I’d promised myself a ride this afternoon.
And a test of 2019 NHS. I got there at 2200, luckily past the waiting trollies as suspected heart attack, lay on trolley until 1100 following day. Wife left at 0730 (plucky woman, think she was just trying to know if to dig out the ins policies...) and described the way out as a war zone, post pandemonium, when the noise has calmed, the smoke has gone but there are bodies everywhere on tables, chairs, any space. Most with drips and splints and god knows what bandages
