Why was she buying you flowers? She looks very guilty. She's upto something dude, don't turn your back.
Took 899 out to Aldeburgh in Suffolk to check my indicator fix had worked. Got 3 miles down the road approaching a roundabout on a dual carriageway and the bike dies. No dash, no engine running. Was slowing down to take 3rd exit, was doing about 30mph. This just after a service too. 2nd time it’s happened. No errors logged when dealer had it the first time turned bike off then on and fired first time.
I wonder if it is quickshift related when warm? If it is the case that the Quick Shifter retards the timing to be able to do it's job and I wonder if some are so finely set up that some cut out? It might explain conditions+ load+ speed variables and how intermitement the fault is and might need a re-flash or at least an ecu lookee? Or I could be talking bolloxs as usual
Went to the Bike shed cafe racer cup at Lydden . It was £23 to get in on the gate!!. What a rip off, for what is basically a posh track day . so we refused to pay and turned the bikes around between the two rows of cars queing up and rode out against the flow of traffic out of the circuit . Had a wonderful 120 mile ride and a lovely great value lunch in Lydd instead . I won't bother trying to support any of their other events again . Shame really .
Enjoying an extraordinary meal in a Michelin restaurant in the middle of nowhere (northern Portugal) and absolutely shit faced. How I'm going to walk back to the hotel, I have no idea. However I do it, I'll be floating on an alcoholic stupor Andy
+1 for what @AirCon says above. Isn’t it strange how people over 50 don’t look old anymore Lucky to have been trained ?
Great day yesterday. Went to ‘Jörg the Laughing German’s’ 60th birthday party. It was a long lunch over looking Nerja in Andalusia. Fantastic views. Then down to Nerja itself for more drinks outside on the terrace of a cliff top bar for the sunset and evening.
Just watched Motogp and had breakfast. Not sure what I will do for the rest of the day. How good is that?
Fitted security cam to the front of the house....very impressed...bought one of these... https://www.hikvision.com/uk/Produc...pixel-series/IR/DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3/W(2.8-12MM) About the size of your hand so very unobtrusive....tucked up on the corner of the house, overlooking my garage and powered from my network switch, so just one network cable to run and thats it. Just to add to this for those of you that are scared of the teccy stuff.....get the camera out of the box power it up (you need a poe switch - dont worry cheap to buy, no configuration, nothing) plug it in to the poe switch and it powers up.....at that point download the app...run the app take a pic of the qr code on the rear and it sets itself up on the phone so you can get to it from anywhere anytime....it also takes a micro sd card (i got a 256gb one) so it can constantly record video....theres a ton of other stuff that you can do but if you want a simple setup it literally takes 5 mins...
