So what have you done today..?

  1. Had a weekend away in Portugal. 15 of us from work all paid for by my boss, I've spent less than £100 and had an amazing weekend. Rented a 60 foot yacht and had a great laugh!

He works us pretty hard and demands a lot but all worth it when he does stuff like this to say thanks, we all go to work for the wages but stuff like this is a real sweetener.

  2. Today I got up early to watch the gp..
Other than that I did nothing all-day but eat and watch shit TV..
About half an hour ago I got a pencil out and started doodling.. I've not drawn in 20 years but my brother is insisting that I illustrate some children's books he has penned.. I used to be not bad so
I will give it ago but not sure I have the skills or patients..

  6. Obviously the original looks a lil better than the laminated photo copy! But I was getting pretty handy before I stopped

With a skillset like that you need to get to Montmartre Paris summertime.
....that would pay for the gitanes & wine.:upyeah:

  10. @KevB
Are you spraying it for the wintertime with protective oils:thinkingface:

  11. I'm 20 years out of practice, I used to draw for about 5 hours every night for years and was just getting good.. also, with people I can only really draw from photos or sculptures as I take ages.. that trump doodle took 20 mins but the one of the boy took 35 hours!!!

  12. Yep... although 'spraying' doesn't seem to quite describe the jet that comes out the nozzle! Hate the job but one bike down and one to do...

  13. As a seated tourist you wouldn't want to be paying for coffees for 35 hours in Paris waiting for that masterpiece ;)(last time i was there it was £5plus:eek:
No you've a eye & hand for that sort of thing...use it more on your next journey.:upyeah:

  19. Well first thing I took SWMBO to the station as she’s gone to that there London to visit an old school friend for a couple of days. Last heard she was in the British Library being very cultured.

After dropping her off I went for my first session with a personal trainer. Took me back 30 years when I used to go to a gym and train a lot. Second session is booked for Thursday :)

Then came home as we were getting a visit from the garage door manufacturer to sort out a couple of manufacturing issues. They came on time and seem to have sorted everything :upyeah:

Now about to make something to eat before watching some TV I’ve recorded in peace :)

  20. M’y Mum has a villa there. There is a shitty restaurant first thing on the beach as you go down from the town called Jose something or other with plastic chairs and wipe clean menus. Every time family visits she insists on booking a table for about 20 because the owner shmoozes her and they yabble away in Spanish for the entire evening. Mum, if you’re reading this: It’s a complete dump and we all hate it (but are too scared to say in case you cut us out of your will)!
