Two scrapers, one thick one thin, a bucket of water and a cuppa is all you need, the paper falls off if you do it right.
its already got a 1079cc in it, in honesty the wind buffering at 80 is just ok, be uncomfortable above that, my god does it go though
Both bikes are now road legal, so I thought I might have a blat on the fuglystrada to my favourite pub. Of course the fugly thought differently...flat battery. So the Guzzi's ticking over outside while I have a fag. Looking forward to this.
Drove a mate to Worcester to drop some of his stuff off. Went and visited my dad while I was there. Drove back to discover the van might have a leaking injector and the exhaust has started blowing! Not happy!
Yes...As I suspected: oil cooler line loosened off just a touch! Phew! Otherwise an 1198 motor would been installed lol!
Changed wheels on car to summer from winter. But my wheelbarrow has a flat (yes, really). Bought a new inner tube for it (comes with tubeless tyres!). Just need to go and visit a mate who's a dab hand with changing motorbike tyres. He has the necessary levers. You aren't going to go far with pushbike levers. I had the same problem last year - too many thorny things in my rubbish dump.
Yesterday was a lovely trip to the Isle of Wight to replace someone's computer. Very nice. Today was a slightly less lovely trip to Bournemouth - fool's errand PC job plus a printer repair. Plus some time spent on the phone to the customer on the Isle of Wight ... managed to sort it remotely so no need for another trip across the Solent quite yet  Oh, and just got phone call from a telephony service provider about a work-related fault I'd raised at the beginning of this week. The girl seemed surprised that I was at home and not still at work.
