Well this morning I used my new found superpower of fannying about and I have been out on the Diavel around West Yorkshire for about 4 hours I’m now about to make some lunch, then I can feel another session of fannying about coming on. Nothing specific mind you
Not really....the plate has two positions, tucked and "normal". Even in the tucked position a car behind the bike can still read the plate.
The sunshine was out earlier today so made the most of that £7.58 road fund licence per calender month charge with a nice gentle rideout ,the downside i had to sit two doors down in roadworks from a cop car because of the rear tyre has not been changed as yetjust put the bike away and the heavens opened up.
A lorry driver called me useless cvnt today, I think that's what he called me, amazing how many people know me when out and about on the bike
You never deleted my account ya auld fart. A Diavel you say, mmmmmm comfy bike, didn't know you had a Diavel.
Dryish morning so out for a running in ride on my new (June 18) Street Triple RS. Runnin as it only had 124 mikes on clock when I picked it up Saturday. Over 300 now so starting to rev to around 8k on occasions. What a fun bike it is. Definitely holigan tendencies even at relatively low speeds. very flickable. Back for a spot of lunch before spending all afternoon decorating round the in laws. Shower and beer needed.
I chopped in the Panigale for the Diavel 1260S and I’ve got a Scrambler 1100 Sport too. I did think they’d be similar bikes but other than the fact they are both black they are completely different rides.
Gatwick - before 5.00AM! Bit of a panic as I hadn't realised the M25/M23 exit was closed and didn't want SWMBO to miss her flight...
I picked up a new piston today from someone who was clearing his Dads house, 200mm bore but no idea what is for yet maybe a marine engine? I dont even know why I said I would have it, just thought why not...
Well, yesterday. One of these transoesophageal echocardiogram followed by a cardioversion shock Today sat waiting for final GO verdict and drugs, that I will now be on until at least end of the year Works of warning for everyone: Don’t be ill. Don’t be old and ill. Dont be old and ill and mentally ill. The scale at which life in hospital worsen by each step is vast and not straighline.
My grandmother was left on a bed in the corridor back in 1994 for hours on end so nothing has improved but just got worse, lack of investment by all governments over the years plus overseas tourists flying in & out without paying and of course a population explosion inhouse alongside mass migration does not help matters. Anyway good luck with your recovery.
this place is full of foreigners!! Mind you, not one of them is in a bed, more the people wandering around in uniforms looking after those in the beds.... #immigrationfactnotfiction
