Sitting waiting far my train next to these millennial wastes of space. It’s going to be a long ride home I am smashed to bits. So that should numb the experience
Finally got the Diavel back together and even rewired the satnav after initial installation teething problems. Who would have thought that the satnav power cable would need the red wire to go to -ve and the black wire to +ve ? Andy
Went on a boat excursion around the islands, had dinner went to a gig. Now sharing a bottle of red. Home 2moz
Fitted a new chainset to the zed (Last week - but its been shit all week so not taken it out) - took the opportunity to take a test ride down to the local kwak shop and make some preliminary inquiries into the new z1000H2 - manager reckons itll weigh in between 13 and 15k.... cant give me any more info than that....the leaked pics on the bike tabloids look promising though...
Highlight of the day for me was that i fitted a new pull switch in the bathroom for local elderly lady FOC,with some rugby matchs thrown in for good measure.
Been playing on the D921, just 20 minutes from home, found a nice little “add on” to the route today. Tis hard work sometimes living here, but will continue to persevere. Hit a damp patch and had a near foot long subway experience (slide!,) but kept things up right when the tyres regained grip. Oops Followed by a few glasses vin rouge when I returned to la maison
I realised today that Xmas is only a few weeks away. Having said that, is anyone on here nicking good stuff and selling it half price? Asking on behalf of a friend.
Yesterday I spent about 5 hours on the Scrambler with my friend Col (on his Diavel) riding round West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. We had brilliant fun. The roads were dry in the main and traffic wasn’t too bad so we were able to make progress, as they say I have to say that the Scrambler 1100 Sport is a brilliant bike, and the Termis did transform it. It’s not just the noise that’s good but it really has made it agile as well as a tad more potent. It’s a great bike for the roads around here, and not only kept up with Col on the Diavel but also blew a few sports bikes into the weeds The only issue for me is it’s a bit on the tall side as standard, but now I’ve got some time over the winter I may get the seat reshaped and see if I can get, say 25-40mm out of the height, which would do the trick for me. If I can get both feet flat on the floor it makes a hell of a difference to confidence levels manoeuvring the bike in tight spots. If I get that mod done I think it will be “a keeper”. Maybe
