I’ve been out with a few members of the DOCGB WY branch for a ride around the Peak District. We did around 130 miles at a fairly good pace, which was good as we’d never ridden together before. The roads in the main were ok, but there was a couple of flooded areas we had to ride carefully through. The Diavel is now clean again and put away till next time
Hey C,with a cycle ride like that you'll well & truly be in Greta's good books for the rest of the year.
Stocked up on soup from Daylesford farm shop in Moreton-in-Marsh. Walked back to GS and it wouldn’t start. Arrrghhhh. 3 panniers and 120L dry bag on it and stuck in car park surrounded by Masser-rati’s, Jags & Porches. After calling breakdown droids I turn bike on and it starts!!! All this while John Torode was starring at me!
Walk across the New Forest to the pub for lunch and then managed a ride on the 600ss before it went dark!
T'was a cracking day here though a tad cold so had to have a spin out but layer up, quite possibly the last one of the season. Also, I'm in SWMBO's bad books as I didn't spend the day with her, but as I told her it's probably gonna rain for the next 4 months so we'll have loads of time to spend together. She hasn't bought it.
Bit chilly here so chickened our of a ride and took the Springers up the woods. Loads of good autumnal smells for them.
Metal gates collected today so i've a bit of spending money for motorbike bits, also just had a very invigorating rideout with very cool temperatures now & possibly maybe tomorrow as well fingers crossed.
no it's only for maintenance labour costs for changing two tyres over / oil & belts on the R after christmas before they get busy again.
Been grafting all day long! Taking the bike over to Ducati Mcr in the morning, we’ll see what they say.
Struggling with another AF since 4pm yesterday. Ffs. Seems to have subsided now so a&e can fuck right off!
